Feb 10th: 7th Annual Woman's Day Red Dress Awards

Emmy Award winner Sherri Shepherd hosts the 7th annual Woman's Day Red Dress awards. With appearances by Mary J. Blige, Larry King, Tim Gun and Colbie Caillat, the Red Dress Awards honor dynamic women who have made amazing strides in the battle against heart disease.
One of the four recipients, Kathy Kastan, is especially close to the Count Me Healthy team as she is the main inspiration behind our Helping Hearts style. Kastan is the past president of the board of directors of WomenHeart: The National Coalition of Women with Heart Disease, as well as an internationally published author and official spokeswoman for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Heart Truth Campaign. Having survived bypass surgery at 42, Kathy will be the first patient advocate to receive the prestigious award. Kathy will wear Count Me Healthy to the Red Dress Awards as well as the Red Dress fashion show in Bryant Park. Congratulations, Kathy! 25% of every sale of the Helping Hearts bracelet will be donated to WomenHeart programs to prevent Heart Disease.

2009 Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure (October 31st)
On Halloween, you would expect to see Orange and black dominate the daytime attire, but the streets of Germantown, Tennessee were actually awash in a distinct, pale pink.
The 2009 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was a huge success, drawing over 16,000 participants and raising over $750,000 for breast cancer research. Count Me Healthy wants to congratulate all of the winners and all of those who volunteered to make this year’s event a smash success. We also want to personally thank Billie White who did an amazing job with the coordination.
At the finish line, the top three women overall, top three Survivors, first place Master Survivor and first place Senior Survivor all received Count Me Healthy Original and Happy and Blessed bracelets! Ladies, you are an inspiration to us all.
